- Keep Refrigeration coils free of ice and
frost by regular defrosting.
- Keep Equipment and surrounding areas
free of dust and dirt.
- Do not overload cabinets, which will
lead to product gaining temperature and the Refrigeration system
has to work harder and uses more energy. (see diagram)
- Maintain Cleaning schedules of cabinets.
- Load Equipment in accordance with manufacturer
recommendations.
- Use night covers and blinds where appropriate.
- Monitor Temperatures three times daily
and record them in a temperature sheet.
